I’ve been planning a full refresh of my backyard this season — thinking about a mix of hardscaping (like a small patio and maybe a retaining wall) along with some gardening features (raised beds and low-maintenance plants).
The problem is, I don’t know if I should try handling parts of it myself or bring in a professional landscaping service. I want the work to last long-term and not end up redoing things every couple of years.
