I was looking at pictures I took in the past and I saw this one (the one on the left). It was originally of my snowblower but I saw my Honda HRR in the corner (I cropped the picture). This was taken around Christmas last year (like 10.5 months ago). The picture on the right is of my mower this year. I took in in October, but the tires have looked like that since the summer. I really haven't used my Honda HRR much since before the summer (before I started trying out other mowers), so all this tire wear is from April-->June/July!! That is how much I push my mower! In 4 months and the tire is worn to a smooth piece of plastic!

Wow! Your push mowers are workhorses! I have never seen that. I use my Exmark Commercial 21's and my Husqvarna push mowers a lot, maybe that would happen in the future?

On a self propelled when tired get really worn and is losing traction you drive self tapping screws into the tread.

This makes for rather annoying transport. Via concrete, pavers, asphalt, dirt paths, flower beds. I recommend oem replacement
