Loctite on rod bolts?

Just put a crank in a kohler SV730-0011 and I was wondering if I should use loctite on the rod bolts? There is oil up in the threads so idk how clean I can get it or if it'll even stick. I sprayed carb cleaner up in the threads. Can anyone tell me the rod bolt torque for this model also?

Do not use loctite: scroll down page to Kohler Courage pro-twin service manual

https://www.kohler-engine-parts.ope..._page=document_general_info&products_id=34596

Yes it does matter, follow instructions step by step in manual & you'll be ok.

Thanks. Didn't know that OPE had manuals. Think I have messed up though according to manual. I made sure to lay the rod caps out exactly where they go but I made a mistake and let the tappets fall everywhere so no idea exactly which side they went on. Think they're all the same? Does this matter? Also when I installed new oil seal into sump, it bottomed out with a fingernail of a lip hanging out.
