Lazer Z XS diesel fuel pump change?

I have a 2006 Lazer Z XS w the Kubota diesel engine. Has anyone changed the electric fuel pump on this type of machine? Im reasonably handy, but the diesel engines I find a little intimidating. If I swap out the fuel pump, do I need to bleed air from the system? Thanks for any input. Look forward to keeping up with all things Exmark in the forum.

Most kubota diesel engines have 2 fuel filters. I would change them both. Changing pump is fairly easy. Just replace it and loosen the fuel line at the injector pump and turn on key to start pump and bleed the air out till fuel comes out tighten the line and should be good to go.

So I completed this repair. Much easier than i thought it would be once i go over the fear of bleeding the air out of the system, Running like a top now.
