My John Deere mower 260 will start and run about 30 minutes until it gets warmed up and then it will just stop like it is out of gas. I can let it set for about 10 minutes then start it and run it for another 10 minutes. No one can figure out the problem. Need ideas bad.

Rule out a vacuum issue associated with the filler cap? have you tried to run it with the cap off? Very simplistic first step.
