60's lawn boy 3052 help c76

I got my first lawn boy today, just saved a really nice c-67 from the local scrap yard today, got it home and after adding gas it runs perfect. my problem is that when it was scraped they dropped it and broke the cast plate between the deck and motor, does anyone have one or know where to get one.

That's a really cool mower that you found but I think the part you need will be very hard to find.

I looked at the parts diagrams on PartsTree.com and it appears that the plate that you need incorporates the top half of the muffler. When I first saw the picture that you posted I hoped that maybe the part could be fabricated without too much trouble but it looks like a pretty complex casting.

Still a great find.

Good luck.

I'll look around my pile, but it's doubtful that I would have anything, don't know yet if any other LB uses the same casting.
