L 321AHE Kohler HD 775. Does anyone now where I can find a governor spring replacement. It appears that the part has been discontinued. The tree branch ripped the spring out and now it’s out of spec so the mower just doesn’t rev up to the right idle.

Assuming the engine is the Kohler HD775-3023 the governor spring is Kohler PN 14 089 14-S. This spring has not been discontinue as my distributor currently has 6 of them in stock. Current list price is $4.78
