The control levers feel like they may have some slack between forward and reverse. Hard to mow a perfectly straight line and jerky in the turns. Replaced all fluids and filters. Checked and fluids are all topped off just right.

no, only have mowed with a snapper 52" ZTR. It is slow but smooth as silk.

Lift the seat and check the dampers on the linkage. Had the same problem when a clip fell out of one of mine and the damper disconnected.
