Doing yearly engine maintenance on my Hustler Raptor Flip Up, has a Kohler 7000 Series 25hp engine.

Would like to know if anyone here has ever used a STENS fuel filter replacement on your engine before?

Was thinking about using the STENS 120-914 universal fuel filter replacement on mine which is a fit cross reference replacement for a Kohler 24 050 13-S.

If so what are your opinions, results, experience, recommendations, etc.?

The metal fuel filter is simply a generic automotive inline filter you can purchase at any parts store.

I use the Kohler filter. 10 microns and extra capacity.
