Seems to be building pressure in the crankcase, popped out the lower shaft seal. Kohler manual says #1 cause is a broken breather reed. Did a word search of the manual, it does not identify where the breather reed(s) are. Anyone know where they are located, what needs to be removed to get to them and how big of a job this may be? Thanks.

I personally have not worked on a CV730 yet, but i believe the breather is located right between the two cylinders. on the front
though here is what the breather cover looks like https://www.partstree.com/parts/kohler-24-096-125-s/
Parts lookup and repair parts diagrams for outdoor equipment like Toro mowers, Cub Cadet tractors, Husqvarna chainsaws, Echo trimmers, Briggs engines, etc.
Thanks. Page C number 13 is the breather reed. It looks like you need to pull the head to get to it. I am hoping that someone can confirm it is on the block under the head.
