Make sure the pto is turned off, and also check for blown fuses.

PTO is off, checked wires.. where are the fuses I should check?

The location of the fuses could vary depending on model of mower. Most are located within about a foot of the battery. Could be clipped to a frame rail, could be under a cover that contains the key switch and other wiring.

Now the question should be is, why did it blow the fuse in the first place.

Now the question should be is, why did it blow the fuse in the first place.

Could it be over loaded, grass was two foot high, and on steep hill.. no other problems
