Have a Kohler 7000 Series PRO 24HP in a Cub, and it sounds a little low.....what should these run at? I thought I heard 3600 somewhere but cant find it listed anywhere. Thanks!
What is the model and spec of your kohler engine Should start out with something like KT also the engine serial number will allow us to pinpoint exactly how the engine is setup.
All small engines are designed to run 3600 RPMs maximum. Most of the newer (less than 20 years) residential equipment are setup to run around 3000-3200 RPMs, but can still run at 3600. You need a digital tachometer to be precise, cannot be dead on by ear.
