Kawasaki Engine FS541V Question

Mounted on my new 48" Scag Hydro....18HP Kawaski

Just did an oil change. According to Kawasaki's website it calls for 1.9qts of oil. Drained what was in there and added appropriate amount but its reading low.

What do you guys think? Dipstick says to NOT screw in.

My 36" Scag with the 16HP Kawi does not have this issue

Just add until it reaches the mark. Have seen this before, not a problem.
