Looks like camshaft timing is off by 2 teeth.

Gear teeth aren't even close to meshing correctly.

Marks you are using... c'shaft keyway and cam cog pedestal?
The 2nd pix looks like the c'shaft has been spun between shots, yeh?

Definitely what I know aa "an old banger"... project value (teaching aid) is all
it's worth.
