just bought a john deere lawn mower

I need a belt for a John Deere lawn mower M42485 I tried John Deere Mower Parts. Huge Selection, Top Quality & Best Prices! they seemed to have real good prices on lawn mower parts. Has anyone here tried them before. Is there any other place i can look?

I would stick with John Deere belts! Not sure on the newer ones, but the older JD's use a different angle to the "V" on the belt than other brands. On the 1960's & 70's models for example, the "variator" may not work right with non-John Deere belts. ~~ grnspot110
