John Deere Z960A Vacuum Fuel Pump

How much fuel should be coming out of the line when you disconnect the line from the carburetor and turn the motor over? The fuel does not gush out only trickles.

Never seen the fuel gush out, it seems to run to the fuel filter pretty good, but from the pump to the carb you would think wow how is it running with that amount of fuel going in.
Now I did not open it up to full throttle looking at this, but I did see that last year when I was trying to check the pump etc when my coil went out.
Is you mower not running correctly?
