Easy one.
If the whole tranny is covered in oil the seal on the input shaft on the top is gone.
Hard bit is the trans will have to come out to replace it.
The word for any tranny work is surgically clean before you put a wrench anywhere.
When the trans is out rotate the input pulley and check for a bent input shaft or blown input shaft bearing.
