John Deere La 105

Hi everybody

I have a
Spicer 5 speed transmission + 1 reverse 4360-212
Which grade of grease is suggested for this tranmission. John Deere dealer could not be of any help.

Most likely it is 00 grease which is commonly used in these type of transaxles.

Get it from a farm tractor supply shop in a 4 /5 gallon bucket.
Fill your box, take an ice cream container out for future use.
Put the rest on ebay for the same price you paid for it.

The same grade of grease is also used in the bevel gear box on line trimmers.
Unfortunately it is $ 5 for a 2 oz tube.
