I bought this machine new last year. I am changing the oil on my EZtrak Z655 for the first time. I warmed the motor up and then went to remove the oil filter but I can only get one hand on it and I cannot get it to turn. Can you tell me any tricks to removing the filter? Does John Deere make a special filter wrench for getting them off? It is the filter the manufacturer installed. I think they over tighten it.

Are you being serious?? Use a filter wrench!!

I use a strap wrench most of the time. And a pair of channel lock pliers on others.
