Just bought a JD 285. In good shape except is very hard to start when engine is cold. It will crank and crank, and try to catch but won't. I put good gas in it, checked the plugs and air filter. The plugs are getting good spark.
I'm going to replace the gas filter today.
Any ideas of what the problem might be?
