Hi I have a John Deere model 47 deck and the main spindle with 2 pulleys on it have to come off because I am rebuilding the deck. Anybody know how to take it off? Thanks!

it's held on with a pin that goes through a boss welded to the deck and through a hole drilled through the bearing shaft.

There is a plate welded underneath of the pulleys with something that almost looks like a zerk fitting. Is that it?

I had to replace my deck spindles and the lifesaver was watching it done on YouTube..... Just punch in John deere lawn tractor deck spindles or a combination of that type of info..... Once you see it done, the spindles were removed and replaced in an hour or so...... I just love youtube for problem solving......
