I have a john deere 14se. It runs good, starts on first pull. The problem i am having is that the blade wont stay engaged. It will spin then shut off.. try again and it wont do anything. I just need to figure out what i need to do to fix the problem. A little info on the lawn mower. I picked this mower up off the side of the road on our city junk pick up days so I'm not sure what kind of abuse the mower has gone through. Any advice would be appreciated, don't tell me to take it to a lawn mower repair shop (last resort).
