My uncle just purchased this mower at an auction for $90. It needs a little work, but its all there. First off, does it take a 12v battery or a 6v? When I jumped it from another 12v battery, the battery wires started getting hot and smoking after I cranked it too long. Also, what is the dipstick under the seat for? The transmission? Thanks for the help!
