Hi all;

Brand new to the forum, pleased to meet you all!

I have a 15 yr old JD L120 with a Briggs and Stratton Intek V Twin. The governor is shot. Unfortunately, the rod is broken. Is it possible to replace? Or, since the rod is 'built in' to the block, do I need to replace the block?

Thanks

Greg Frey

Don't quite understand the statement the rod is "built into the block" yes the rod is an internal part, and can be replaced, here's a link to a Briggs O/H manual, & a Part Manual, I'm not sure if they the correct ones for YOUR engine as we need YOUR engine Model, and Code numbers (found on one of the engine valve covers) to be certain of the correct Manuals..
