JD L100 engine ?

Hi everyone,

I have a JD L100 with a 17 HP B&S engine. I was wondering if a 17.5 HP Kohler engine out of a L110 would work in my L100?

It should, it's the same chasis. The motor bolt pattern is different, but there should be an alternate pattern punched in already for mass production. I can check my L110 in the morning to verify, before it gets traded away this weekend.

Confirmed. Inspected my L110 this am, and there is another set of patterned holes punched in the motor mounting deck.
