JD E 180

We bought our JD E 180 new from Lowe's in 2018, so this is out 6th season to mow with it. I do love it, it is a beast and has tons of power. My question is, since we bought it we have put two new mower deck belts on it, the last two were kevlar. Our yard is hilly, bumpy and about 1+ 1/2 acres. Is that an unusual number of belts in 5+ seasons? The belt is very difficult for me to put on because of a disability. Also, the only other concern is that the "30 second oil change" is wonderful, but expensive! My Tahoe costs me 90.00 for an oil change with semi synthetic, my JD costs 52.99. 😮

Deck belts are a wear item and there is no normal service life for them
Things like sticks and in particular woody tree seeds will shorten their life as will sandy soils
Apart from keeping the spildles and the tensioner arm greases there is little you can do other than rake the yard before you mow ( no one ever does this )
