I have a 2007 JD model 102. The issue is the brake sticks most times. I have taken apart the caliper, no rust on the small piston. It seems to be in the linkage, somewhere it is binding up. If it does stick, I have to reach down and jiggle the rod which runs from the front of the mower off the pedel to the rear arm that attaches to the caliper. Hoping this makes some sense.
