The biggest problem is getting the fender deck off. Six bolts, but you have to remove the rear wheels or remove the foot rest/ center deck. Then tilt the fuel tank forward and there it is. I just replaced the pressure regulator ( what JD calls it, $14) on a neighbor's 445 and it still leaks. If you find out why it leaks, let me know. I don't know how it can leak when it is at the top of the transmission case. This tractor also has only just enough transmission oil to touch the dipstick, so it is not over full.

There’s another place where the transaxle or hydrostat is known to leak and it’s the forward/backwards lever shaft seal.
