Well once again I was mowing this mans yard and my JD breaks down, the yard must not like JD's, but anyways my front wheel came off, yes came off, so I had to pick up the front end and slide it back on, I found a bearing but lost the cap, I was wondering what needs to be replaced, I dont have a parts list, Im thinking just one bearing then the cap? Any help would be appreciated!

How is the wheel held on is it just a cotter pin or does it have a bolt in the center of the shaft

Most John Deere's use a snap ring to hold the front wheels on. Check the end of the spindle for the telltale groove at the end of the spindle.

yes it does have a snap ring that goes on the end of the shaft, I'm assuming I have 2 bearings, one for the inside and one for the outside of the wheel, I guess they are pressed in and the shaft is held in by the ring. I was only able to find 1 bearing but I have look online and I think it requires 2 which would make since.
