Is Castrol HD 30w good for Kawasaki FR651V use ? Or what ?

Seems Dealer no longer stocks 30w Kaw oil, so I'm looking for a good 30w substitute.

Any input is appreciated.
 
Any 30W air cooled engine oil will be fine ( Mower or motorcycle ) but mower oil is better as it has addatives designed for very occasional use.
The biggest problem with mower oils is not what goes in the sump but how long it has been there.
 
Thanks Bert, I wouldn't have thought about additive differences between mower vs cycle oil, makes sense.
