Installed a new impulse pump on a generator. starts fine getting fuel, oil is coming out the impulse pump from the crank case, does this mean to much oil in crank case? Guardian/Generac 15000KW. Any input would be greatly appreciated

Welcome
Yes & no
either oil level is too high , usually because carb float has failed & the fuel tank drained into the sump
or
the crankcase air pressure is too high Which is often a blown head gasket , cause by the same reasons above
or
in about 0.5% of the time the diaphragm on the pump has split .
