My John Deere model 112 ( a 1969) has a solid state ignition module which is no longer available thru any J D dealers or any used parts place I have checked. I have been told there is a replacement setup for it but so far no one has proved that one exists. Anyone know of such a thing or where i May get a good used one?

Try you tube . I think I saw a guy do a conversion like that .
610759. That should be the part number for the solid state magneto, if it is mounted under the flywheel. Please double check your model number, I could not find the one you gave.
