hello all,

2018 troy bilt 42 inch 17.5 hp mod 13an77bs011. my right idler (one with bracket) is loose and can’t tighten up the slack. the bracket only is loose.

does this need slack in the bracket?

the drawing does not show having a washer to take slack up and i have one there. i really didn’t want the pulleys uneven. just wondered if this is normal

Three parts needs replacing. On IPL they are 31, 40, and 47.

Make sure you check that idler pulley the bearing may be bad.
