Engine I hit a cable pulling my swisher mower , flywheel now will only turn half way.

Can anyone help me with this? The cylinders go up and down when I turn it but then it catches.

You need to explain it a little more so we can get a picture in our mine of what u are trying to tell us, did u hit a cable with the blade, or was it on a trailer and u ran into a cable that struck the motor or what? its about as clear as mud to us right now,

make sure all the cable is removed as it could be getting stuck as you turn it even if there's only a fragment left
