I have a 1985 Craftsman lawn tractor 917.255720 and I had to replace the rear end on it. Now I need to know how to bypass the safety switches it will start. Can anyone give me any help on this. I know there not supposed to be passed but I need to get it running.
The kill switch applies a ground to the ignition (that kills the spark)...
All you need to get the starter to turn the engine over is to apply 12 volts to the small terminal on the starter solenoid.
