I have a GT2354 model Snapper, had power steering for a while, then it went away.. now try to go straight and you weave back and forth and when you turn sharp the wheels turn in tight and the mower slides along on the tire sideways.. I pulled everything off I could to see what the steering shaft looked like, found that hydraulic steering unit under the steering wheel, haven't gotten it off yet, when I looked it up, it was near $1200, NOT sure I want to spend that kind of money for a small gear box! can it be rebuilt firstly, if not, is there a good place with a "good" price to purchase that unit? any suggestions would be appreciated..
