I have a 2011 Hustler Sport 52" Zero Turn - Towards the end of last year, every 3-4 cuts, my belt would start twisting and then snap. I put probably 6-7 belts on it last year. I've cut 3 times this year so far, and it just snapped yesterday. I'm about as irritated as I can be. Can someone help me out on this that knows about the Hustler mowers? I'm sick of putting a $45 belt on every 3-4 cuts. Thanks for your help!
Sounds like you have an idler / pulley issue or your belt is not tensioned right. Do you just keep putting belts on or have the pulleys been looked at?
