Hello everyone.. I want to start a small lawn care business (5-10 yards at first) and was curious if The Hustler Raptor SD would perform and hold up for what I'm wanting to do. A local business has the Raptor SD 60' deck, 24HP Kawasaki engine, and fabricated deck for 4,499. All of the salesman have told me that it is not built for commercial use at all. I'm aware of that, but wanted to know if you guys have used these for a small lawn care business. I have also looked at the John Deere Z445 , but was told the same. My problems is that I cant afford to shell out big money for a commercial mower at this time. I appreciate any help or suggestions.. Thanks..

If you could afford about $700 more, I would recommend that you check out the Gravely ZT HD 60(on sale at my local dealer for $5,199...regular MSRP is $5,839). It comes with a 1Year Commercial Warranty which is a clear indication that it would be up to the task of your small lawn maintenance business. This ZTR would be comparable to the Hustler FasTrak which would be my choice in the Hustler line if I were you.
