I am replacing the right side Hydro Gear pump/motor on my Hustler Z-Trac. I have purchased the new unit but the break gear/locking lever is on the opposite side from the old one. apparently this is the way the new ones come now. Has anyone else run into this issue? Is there a retrofit kit or part available to get the break linkage hooked up to these newer units?

Call Hydro-Gear and see if it can be moved to the other side. I have seen some with the part interchangeable.
