The keeper bolt on the transmission shaft worked loose allowing the key on the transmission shaft to loosen. Long story short, the transmission shaft is bad and I need to replace it. I am looking for a way to repair this without shelling out $1400 for a new transmission. Are there Hustler graveyards out there? The tranny is a Parker 606402. Lots of vendors that want $1400 plus. Any suggestions?
