Hello, I am rehabbing a Husqvarna lc221a AWD mower that I'm about to give up on (it was given to me.) . The AWD won't fully engage and I thought that after I cleaned out the 20 pounds of dead grass it would help...nothing. Replaced a frozen spindle, nothing. Realized it was missing a small tension spring, did not work. New belt, nothing. New drive cable, did not work. This has model has one belt for the front and rear...the cable is not adjustable. I have found that if I pull up on the exposed cable at the handle it will fully engage. It's not a lot just a bit. How can I increase the tension on this transmission/rear pully if there is no adjustment. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
