You cant go wrong with a Honda mower. I have owned and used 3-4 craftsman mowers, a Yard Man mower, and a Cub Cadet mower, all brand spankin new. I finally got fed up with the poor engineering of those mowers and bought a Honda mower that was not currently running for $60, cleaned out the carb and now have a mower that makes all the other I have used look like complete trash.
I have been mowing 3-10 lawns a week for the last 12 years and wish I had bought a Honda mower since the beginning. With the twin blades the mulching and bagging is amazing and the Hondas can self-propel faster than you would think a walk behind mower could cut and and not miss blades or bog down given a well cared for lawn.
I find it sad a brand new craftsman or cub cadet mower is a piece of trash compared to the 10-12 year old Honda mower I just bought for $60, and I am very picky when it comes to the quality of cut and amount visibility of grass clippings on the lawns I mow. If it gives you any kind of idea of how picky I am, I built my own lawn striper for a walk behind mower just so it looks as professional as possible and it sure as heck does.
