My name is Franken-Roper, I have what I belive to be a 1971 Rally Roper (Roper Rally as some call it). I dont use it to mow but I have made some mod to make it into a trail rider. I have drove it places that ATV, 4x4 and other vehicles couldnt make it to. It has a Briggs & Stratton 400 cc 11Hp Single Cylinder Engine with a 5 Speed Trans. If I am not mistaken my Rally Roper was made by Murray as it has basicly the same setup as the old murray I used to own. I have made several mods to the roper in such as I have the front steering pices of a 21 HP Yard Machine on it as well as the front tires and rims. I did a custom frame which I welded into the engine area to make it stronger, also made a custom exhaust. More mods will be done as I go. Thanks for letting me join the club:thumbsup:

Thanks, yes the Rally Roper is a fun project, the custom frame that I welded in allows the hood to still shut like nothing is there. I will get pictures up as soon as possible. I have lots of basic small engine knowledge but I am by no means expert so I will be here on the site often to learn more from everyone here. Thanks again for the welcome!
