Looking for ways to quiet down a lgt25k54 with a 25hp Courage twin motor. An aftermarket muffler doesn't seem to be an option but if someone could point me in the right direction that'd be great. Looking for ideas and or solutions.
Thanks

There are many ways to quiet down a mower, though many of the options will cost you some money.

A cheap way is to seal up the gaps between the exhaust pipes and the muffler itself. This should quiet it down quite a bit.
Another cheap solution is to purchase exhaust gaskets that match the engine. Your exaust gaskets may be worn out, so replacing them with new ones should improve the sound quality.

The more expensive solutions is the buy a whole new muffler. You muffler may have holes on the outside or in the inside.

It's 2.5 years old and there's nothing broken or needs repairing, it's just loud. It's been this loud since it was new. I'm not sure what you mean by 'seal up the gaps between the exhaust pipes and the muffler itself". Is there typically gaps in the exhaust system? If there is, how do you go about sealing them up? Thanks
