If it is a service reminder, they are programmed into the timing chip and will come on at every service schedule , hang around for about 2 mowing hours then go away

On older models, there was a yellow switch under the dash that you could reach in and press that would reset the light. It's on the side where you remove the radiator screen. Locate the switch. Turn key on. Press and hold switch until the service light flashes a few times. That should reset it.
