My HRX2174VKA mower with Smart Drive Speed Control won't start unless I put some extra tension on the blade control cable, more than happens when the blade control lever is engaged. There are no barrel adjusters at either end of the cable housing, like on a bicycle. There are also no additional attachment holes at either end of the cable, where it attaches to the blade control lever or the engine. How do you adjust this cable? I think the part number is 54530-VL0-S01 . Thanks!
Take the blower cover off & you will see a switch
The ones we get here are often different to the USA ones but if it is a plunger style then run a small self tapper into the end of the plunger to make it longer
If it is a micro switch, then bend the arm a little
Some times the atual housing can bend in a bit & needs bending back
