Hi,
Just ordered a Honda HRX 217 VKA and was wondering the best place to find a shop service manual.

I plan to do my own maintance and repairs.

A lot of good vids on the Internet but nothing takes the place of a good manual.

Any help is appreciated!

Honda manuals are not particularly good unless you are already a reasonably proficient mechanic
Honda sell them on Amazon & evilbay

Hi,
Thanks, well...I'm a Marine Engineer.

I guess I can stumble my way through it?

Thanks again!

On the web was are all just electrons passing through cyber space. :confused2:
I could be an 8 year old girl who gets her jollies by convincing other people she is a 69 year old mower mechanic. :cool2::banana::giggle::giggle::giggle::giggle:
A person who is used to reading comprehensive marine manuals with find Honda's "comic book" approach to manuals quite amusing

Honda sells them on their website under shop manuals. I purchased one for my HRX , $38.95.

Hi,
You've got "issues" Mate!

First you assume no one has the brains to read a Mower Shop Manual.

Then you question their integrity and or call them pretty much a liar...

For something they've done for 40 years???

Men in India live in caves for years to rid themselves of Ego (Maya)???

Maybe there is a cave near you?

Thanks again!

Hi,
Thanks, just ordered one from there, 6th Edition with all the supplements!

Cheap enough, and they even gave me free shipping.

Hard to beat!

Think you missed the point and the attempt at humour.
As for egos, I could add a footer 6" long full of qualifications but I don't because it is up to the readers to read what is posted and evaluate what has been said.
Not to blindly do what is suggested because I ( or any one else ) profess to be a guru.
In cyber space we all all equal, just electrons floating around thus whatever is said should be taken at face value.
And read the line about Honda manuals a second time.
When you get yours you will understand the comment better.

This all would be a different story if you were an 18 year old girl....

I've got to agree, though . . . While the information is there, the organization and style in the Honda manuals is unusual at best, and could be a *lot* better.

Because you said you were 8. Or was that a typo? Send me some pics privately to my "seagiant" account.
