Good Afternoon
I hope you are well
Have just joined in search if knowledge please?
My Honda HRB 475 walk behind mower, has started to misbehave.
It will start and run, but only until the carb bowl emptied.
The photos show the culprit, in the petrol feed.
It was cracked, but now broken. What is this part called or numbered please?
I have removed it and run a fuel pipe direct from the tank to the carb, mowers runs OK.
Not able to adjust speed or stop the mower without pulling the plug lead off.
Thank you all

Being a European model, there is not much available for us in the US to help you with. Hopefully one of the guys on your side of the pond will chime in.

It's a fuel cock, if it's not fitted in side the tank just replace a in line one....!

The fuel petcock has a very important job to do. Since the fuel tank sits above the carb, fuel may naturally (think gravity) flow into the engine and dilute the engine oil, thus resulting in severe engine damage. Highly advise that you re-install some type of fuel shutoff valve ASAP. If nothing else, generic versions are available on Amazon.
