Thank you for giving me the answer to my enquiry, I asked about the Honda HR 173 recoil starter rope replacement and found the diagram required to carry out the repair in no time ! I - as the previous enquirer - was worried about the spring tension on trying to release the top bolt - but the actual tension spring is underneath the whole thing and the diagram explains everything in detail.
