Holding a price after 12 years: big box lawn tractor

In Lowes this week there sat a Husqvarna lawn tractor, stamped deck and "basic Intek V" on sale for $1800. That is the price I paid for my Craftsman dyt 4000 in 2004 . It was on sale with about $200 off.
 
I too bought a DYT4000 in 04, with Sears warranty $1550. Had the 18.5 Intek with a 42" deck. Was your price with some attachments? I did see a DYT4000 once that had a V-twin.
 
My dyt4000 has the Intek 24 hp V and I think the bagger system and little metal cart was on top of that price. Ha ha , did not buy the warranty and had a problem , but it is still running . I need to put a ground drive belt on it. The mower deck belt was recently changed (original) with multiple cracks in it. Still on original blades. Looking back and ignoring the engine problem it has been a good machine.
